Memorial Day

This weekend we celebrated Memorial Day with lots of friends at the River. The new pier was up-and-running and the weather was perfect!

Perfect for an afternoon boat ride!

New York, New York

This weekend we went to New York for a wedding. We began the weekend on Friday morning when we boarded the plane and realized we weren’t carrying our hanging bag! So we arrived with no clothes for the Saturday night wedding. Fortunately, NYC has a few places to shop. We spent all day Friday playing outside with the twins and went out for sushi with Greg and Marie that night.

On Saturday we drove up to Poughkeepsie for Scott and Sabrina’s wedding. It was beautiful and so fun to see so many of our DC friends!

We drove back to Hoboken on Sunday to spend “quality time” with the twins, Greg and Marie. I took one picture, which depicts the extent of said quality time.

With a Purpose

This Saturday Mark and I ran in our first 5k race. It was the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. My office had tie-dyed our shirts as a team - we looked pretty darn good if you ask me!

Mark finished in 30 minutes!

I finished in 32 minutes!

Then we hopped in the car and drove to the river for the rest of the weekend.
